Semester 1 - 3 will offers core subjects.

Semester 4 (Jan 10) offers EBB6143, EBA6163 & EBB6323

The question is whether everybody in our group satisfy with the subjects offered? or we need to request for new subjects of our interest.

The following is my list of choice for electives:

1. Investment
2. International business
3. Global Economy
4. Law for Manager
5. Managing Culture

My rational is that we should learn something that we cannot obtain information or training that can only be available in institution of higher learning.

There are a lot of training center offering good human resource management courses.

The first 3 subjects chosen with the rational that they are not only important for anyone of us who are or wants to be in the higher position in your organization. Since Malaysian market is considerably small so to sustain growth, going international is important. Even if you are not in these higher positive, they are good information for us to manage our wealth growth having knowledge to know what, how and when is the good time to invest and make your money grow instead of saving cents by cents in the bank.

Law for Manager, in my opinion is a very important subject. If we don't know what we can and what we cannot, most of the time we will be stuck with no decision or making mistakes or most important of all no solution going into a situation of no option.

Managing culture is the most challenging job in any organization. This, sometimes, depend on the personality of the person but it would be great advantage if it is done in a systematic method so that if everyone of us is in higher position of any organization will not got shot with "thousand bullets". Anyway, this subject if you think is not important, I think the next course we can exchange with Entrepreneurship. As many of
us already are or might be preparing themselves to be entrepreneurs and not most of us are lucking having a guidance around.

The above is only my opinion.
